Barbara Csenge MSc, B.A., B.Ed.
For over 25 years Barbara Csenge has worked within a variety of school and health settings creating educational solutions for unique learning challenges. She is experienced with students at all school levels and learning abilities in both public and private settings. She has managed large school teams and delivery of student programs for gifted, learning disabilities, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, asperger’s, autism, deaf and hard of hearing, vision and multiple exceptionalities. She also has extensive experience building team communication between school and health professionals to promote student success.
She has designed and produced unique school programs by collaborating with partners such as CAMH, Toronto International Film Festival, Toronto Argonauts, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehab, and the University of Toronto David L. Macintosh Clinic.
More recently, her focus has been on school concussion management: she designed and implemented an interprofessional program and has managed school reintegration for over 500 students following concussion. Her master’s thesis at the University of Toronto examined risk factors and patterns of recovery following concussion in a cohort of high school students.
In addition to student, family, school and health industry consulting, Barbara has lead workshops and professional development and taught Special Education courses for teachers through Queens University. She is a regular presenter at education and health professional conferences.
